Personal development and personalised coaching for men
navigating change, identity and what comes next.
You’ve built a life, career or identity that once worked.
You’re functioning, even successful.
But the old way of operating doesn’t quite fit anymore.
You’re ready for something different — more honest,
more aligned, more you.
You’re not alone.
That’s where the work begins.
Help shape my next book · The Grey Zone
I’m writing my second book, The Grey Zone, exploring life transitions and reinvention. If you’ve experienced a significant change in your life, I’d love to learn from your experience. Share your perspective through my survey and help inform the book.
Lifting Stones is about looking beneath the roles,
expectations and patterns we carry — not because
everything needs fixing, but because understanding
what’s underneath creates choice.
And with choice comes a more intentional,
fulfilling life.
Same purpose.
A broader tomorrow.
No two people arrive at Lifting Stones in exactly the same place. So I don’t believe they should automatically be given exactly the same program.
We begin with a conversation. I’ll take the time to understand where you are, what’s been happening, what you want to change and where you want to go.
From there, I’ll design a personalised coaching journey around you — typically 6 to 12 sessions, depending on the depth of the work and what you want to achieve.
We start with a conversation. No pitch, no predetermined program. Just an opportunity to understand where you are and what you want to change.
I step away and build a coaching journey around your goals, circumstances and the work I believe will create the greatest impact.
If it feels right for both of us, we begin — with clear direction, while leaving room for what emerges along the way.
Growth doesn’t always begin with coaching.
Sometimes it starts with a question, a conversation,
a book, or simply recognising something in yourself
you hadn’t seen before.

Same Purpose.
A Broader Tomorrow.
I grew up learning how to adapt. Different environments, different expectations and different versions of who I thought I needed to be.
For years, many of those patterns worked. Independence. Control. Approval. Conformity. They helped me navigate life — until some of them started getting in the way of actually living it.
My own work of understanding those patterns eventually became the foundation for Lifting Stones.
Today, I work with people navigating their own periods of change — helping them understand what’s underneath, reconnect with who they are and make more intentional choices about what comes next.
People evolve.
So can you.
The Book · By Rob Goddard
What are you holding behind yours?
We learn to look like we’re coping. To be the strong one. To say we’re fine, even when there’s more beneath the surface.
In Behind the Smile, I share personal stories and reflections on the masks we wear, why we hold onto them, and what it can mean to begin letting them go.

Let’s Talk
Maybe you know what you want to change. Maybe you just know something needs to.
We can start there. A conversation about where you are, what matters to you and whether working together feels right.
